Mumbai, Mar 29: The Kulala foundation, Mangalore in association with Kulala Sangha here will hold a grand ‘Kulala Utsav’ at Kamgar Krida Bhavan, Dadar here on April 4, said programme committee advisor N G Moolya.
He along with convenor, Dinesh Kulal gave details about the fest at a press conference held on Saturday March 27.
The purpose of the fest is to create awareness among the younger generation of the community about its history and rich cultural heritage. As many as 5,000 people are expected to take part in the fest.
Felicitation of achievers in different fields, discussions and variety of cultural programmes will be held on the occasion. Many eminent personalities from Karnataka, Maharashtra as well as other parts of India and abroad will take part in the fest.
Sri Mohandas Swamiji of Sridama Manila will inaugurate the fest and Udupi Puttige seer Suganendratheerta Swamiji will be present during the valedictory ceremony.
Programme committee advisors Sundar Karmaran, Shashi Kumar Kulal and Anand B Moolya were present at the press meet.
