Mangaluru, Sep 4: President of Ullal municipal council Rayappa in a press release stated that unauthorized advertisements and banners hung in Ullal municipal council limits would be removed and those responsible for putting them up will be fined.
“It is compulsory to apply for permission for advertisements on any buildings, walls, hoardings, frame posts and vehicles under Karnataka Municipal Act 1964 Section 155, pay for approval, obtain challan and remove them once the duration gets over. The hoardings, banners and other publicity materials hung without approval will be checked, removed and confiscated as unauthorized under section 136 by the council and fine will be imposed,” he stated.
Trade license will be cancelled if chicken waste found thrown in public places:
Ullal municipal president Rayappa said that no dealers would be allowed to throw chicken wastes in the open. “Chicken dealers in Ullal municipal council limits should not throw their trash in rivers, open places or on the seashores. That should be handed over to the staff of Mangaluru proteins,” Rayappa said in a press release.
“The waste will be collected by the company in their vehicles and disposed of at the processing unit at Baikampady. Animal food will be prepared out of it. The trade licenses of chicken dealers will be cancelled if their trash is thrown in public places,” he stated.
