Sullia, Sep 5: Entry of visitors to the pictureseque Koila cattle rearing farm, which is located on the road that connects Uppinangady and Subramanya is banned. The officials of the farm, who were frustrated by the increasing misbehaviour of the tourists, have decided not to allow public into the farm land.

This farm, where the cattle graze, is a treat to the eyes especially during the monsoon season as the grass would be lush green. However, the tourists instead of enjoying the beauty of the farm, were involved in fun and frolic which poses danger to the life of the cattle.

There were instances of cattle dying due to consumption of plastic packets that were thrown in the farm land by the tourists. Now entering the farm or clicking photos from outside is strictly banned and CCTV is installed at the entrance of the farm to record the movement of each and every person who passes by the road that is in front of the farm.

This farm that is spread over an area of 704 acres is used by some miscreants for their immoral activities. The officials of the farm have requested the district police to put up a police outpost near the farm also.
