Mangaluru: Scooty rider killed in accident at Maroli

Mangaluru, Sep 7: Meghraj (19) from Manjeshwar Ambedkar Nagar was killed after a scooty he was riding hit the road divider. The accident happened at Maroli in the city on the evening of Sunday, September 6.

Pillion rider Deepak (18) from Manjeshwar, suffered serious injuries.

The two were returning after visiting Pilikula when the accident happened. The personnel of the city (east) police station have registered a case. Investigation is under way.
