Mangaluru, Sep 17: Mayor of Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) Diwakar Pandeshwara has requested concerned people and organizations living under city corporation limits to remove the flex and banners within three days that are displayed without authorization of MCC.

These instructions were given as the general public was repeatedly complaining about this issue. Mayor Diwakar was informed of the situation by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and MLA Vedavyas Kamath and accordingly, he has passed an order.

Permission of MCC is mandatory to install any cutouts or flex banners within MCC limits. If this rule is violated MCC itself will remove the banners without any notice to the people who have installed the same. In a press publication mayor, Diwakar also clarified that the flex and frames that are confiscated by MCC will not be returned.
