Udupi, Apr 16: ‘Sadana Padukere’, an organization established 10 years ago to rehabilitate those affected by drug abuse and alcohol addiction in the areas of Padukere and Kadekar, near here, celebrated Ugadi and its decennial at Padukere seashore, on Wednesday April 16.
Vasudev Kharvi, president, Sadana Padukere, inaugurated the programme.
Local resident and national swimmer Gangadhar G was felicitated on the same occasion.
Sadana Padukere founders Shivaram Puthran, Krishna G Kotian, Harish Thingalaya, Jayasheela Kanchan, and Harish Padukere were present.
Samskara Bharati troupe from Mangalore staged dance recitals depicting the glory of the nation. The local group also staged various cultural programmes.
