Forensic report says 'no rape' in Hathras case

Lucknow, Oct 6 (IANS): The Department of Forensic Medicine at the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College of Aligarh Muslim University, has certified that there is no evidence of rape in the case of the 19-year-old Dalit victim in the Hathras case.

The certificate has been submitted with an affidavit by the Uttar Pradesh government in the Supreme Court on Tuesday.

"There are no signs suggestive of vaginal/anal intercourse. There are evidences of physical assault (injuries over the neck and the back)" the certificate says.

The state government, it may be recalled, has been saying all along that the post mortem report did not confirm rape while the victim's family insisted that the girl was sexually assaulted.

The families of the accused persons have also been saying that no rape had taken place and the girl was actually beaten up by her brother and the injuries proved fatal.

"The sample was collected 11 days after the woman was allegedly raped, while government guidelines strictly say forensic evidence can only be found up to 96 hours after the incident”- Chief Medical Officer of AMU.

BJP in UP is trying hard to save those rapists from UC.

Destroying the evidence and disposing the body by burning at 2:30 AM without family's consent by govt officials equals to sexual assault and punishable same as rape. Body was destroyed anyways but why her tongue was slashed is it not to give any statement against the rapist?????????.......Only narco analysis of brain mapping of accused in a neutral venue can reveal the truth but it should not take place anywhere in UP or BJP controlled states.
