Dubai: Udyavar Muslim Unity Celebrates Second Anniversary

Dubai, Apr 19: The second anniversary celebration of Udyavar Muslim Unity (UMU), UAE was held at Foodland Restaurant’s Party Hall here, recently.

UMU general secretary Janab Abdul Khaliq Hyder welcomed the gathering followed by Holy Quran recitation done by unity member Janab Arfan Palli. UMU advisor Janab Ansar Aziz presided. UMU president Janab Khaiser Mohammed Abu, chief treasurer Janab Nayaz Shabuddin T and UMU vice-president Janab Ashraf Sattar was also present.

Janab Ashraf Sattar delivered the welcome speech. UMU treasurer Janab Sameer Sherief Pande read out the annual report and UMU auditor Janab Khalil Khairullah presented the audit report for the past year. Janab Ansar Aziz appraised the achievements and dedication of its members. A lucky dip which had nearly fifteen prizes concluded the super day of entertainment. The gifts were distributed among children on the special occasion by wife of Ansar Aziz.

Janab Asif Khader proposed the vote of thanks. Janab Abdul Khaliq Hyder compered the programme.

New Office-bearers

The new office- bearers and executive members were also re-elected on the day. Janab Haji Abdul Jaleel was elected as honorary president, Janab Mohammed Ansar Aziz as chief advisor, Janab Khaisar Mohammed Abu as president, Janab Mohammed Ashraf Sattar and Janab Mohammed Afzal Rasheed as vice-presidents, Janab Abdul Khaliq Hyder as general secretary, Janab Mohammed Asif Kader and Janab Firoz Sharief Melpete as joint secretaries, Janab Nayaz Shahbuddin T as chief treasurer, Janab Imtiyaz Sattar and Janab Samir Sharief Pande as treasurers, Janab Khalil Khairulla as auditor, Janab Wajid Mohammed as an accountant and Janab Amzad Rasheed as in-charge of media relations were re-elected.

    I am well aware about the help your committee provide to the less fortunate families in udyavar...mashaallah...but it would be extremely nice if the muslim girls/women/boys, r given some nursing training then they can earn
    well by working as home nurses..if ur committee works upon this, then i am ready to give full support...inshallah lookin forward to ur thought upon this advise...
