New Delhi, Oct 13: A 'chip' made of cow dung that claims to reduce radiation emitted from mobile phones was unveiled by Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog (RKA) chairman Vallabhai Kathiria on Tuesday.
Kathiria also maintained that the chip will be a safeguard against diseases.

Speaking at the launch of the nationwide campaign 'Kamdhenu Deepawali Abhiyan' involved with promoting cow dung products, Kathiria said, "Cow dung will protect everyone, it is anti-radiation. It is scientifically proven...This is a radiation chip that can be used in mobile phones to reduce radiation. It will serve as a safeguard against diseases."
The 'chip' has been manufactured by Rajkot-based Shrijee Gaushala and is called 'Gausatva Kavach.'
RKA has been in operation since 2019, to conserve, protect and work for the development of cows and their progeny. The organisation has also launched a nation-wide campaign to promote the use of cow dung-based products during festivals.
The chairman of RKA also urged people to abstain from the use of China-made products this festival season. He claimed that the campaign by RKA will also promote the concept of Make in India by PM Narendra Modi and the swadeshi movement.
