Mangaluru: Sudden transfer of assistant commissioner comes as surprise

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Oct 14: Assistant commissioner of Mangaluru sub-division, Madan Mohan C, has been transferred abruptly. The state government has posted Ravichandra Nayak, joint executive director of Mangaluru Smart City project, in his place.

The state government said in its order that this order has been issued with a view to implement the order passed by Karnataka Administrative Tribunal.

It is said that efforts to transfer the assistant commissioner were on from the day he led a team of officials and impounded 30 vehicles including lorries, backhoes, Hitachi etc which were involved with illegal bauxite mining. It is said that local people's representatives and influential people involved with this activity were angry at this raid and attempts to transfer the official were on since then. There were speculations that the official could be transferred anytime. Some suspect that the state government would have bent under pressure from the bauxite lobby.

Madan Mohan C

It may be recalled that the deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada, Dr K V Rajendra, had formed a team of seven officials led by Madan Mohan with officials of PWD, mines and geology department, forest department etc as members, with instructions to go into the red bauxite business and file a report by October 20. But the assistant commissioner has been transferred before he could do the needful.

Changing of Sri Ramulus health portfolio is OK. But why transfer of Mangalore Asst. Commissioner abruptly. That means Govt. supports illegal activities and who does it. No value for Govt. Officers. Strange.

What is this happening? DC transferred, DCP transferred and now AC transferred. The politicians are harassing the buerocrats by transferring them when they take legal action against the culprits involved in unlawful activities. No doubt that the money power is ruling ultimately.

Democracy in India is ONLY for Corrupt-Illegal-Fraudster Elected Officials. All Illegal Activity Operators such as Sand Miners,Law Breaking Builders,Stone Miners,Land Brokers are using those Corrupt Elected People to PUNISH the Honest and Straight forward Officials with Transfer and Torture. It is time to Question the Chief Minister Yediyarappa and MP Mr Kateel regarding this Transfer. I kindly and Honestly requesting Mr Mithun Rai to take this matter seriously along with Congress Party and His Youth Supporters. You are a Good Leader and now take action soon and Publish the Fraud. Thanks to You Sir.

State Govt is showing in true color by following central Govt. sincere people are not allowed to do their duties. Only corrupt and luteras are appointed for smooth runnign of dakaiti by ruling party members. Mangalore Assistance Commissioner was very sincere and doing nice job. but mafia did not like this and got him transferred to another place by putting pressure on |Govt. Nalin is behind this transfer as he is very close to these mafias.
