701 more test corona positive in J&K, active cases total 9,739

Srinagar, Oct 14 (IANS): As many as 701 more persons tested coronavirus positive in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, taking its active cases to 9,739 and total tally over 85,000.

The Information and Public Relations Department said that 264 new cases were reported in Jammu division and 437 in Kashmir division.

Of the 85,409 positive cases in J&K, 74,318 have recovered completely. In all, 1,252 COVID patients have succumbed in the Union Territory so far, including 12 who died on Wednesday.

Of the active cases, 3,842 are in Jammu division and 5,897 in Kashmir division.
