Udupi: Unique postcard education held as part of national postal week

Udupi, Oct 15: The Udupi department of posts and Upendra Pai Memorial College held a programme titled ‘Anchecard Mukhantara Shikshana’ (education through postcard) at Kunjibettu UPMC auditorium on October 15 as part of the national postal week.

Small questions on subjects learnt by the students online were written on postcards to obtain their answers on them as part of the experiment in the college. The college principal Dr Madhusoodan Bhat handed over the postcards of questions by the lecturers to the postal department deputy superintendent Dhananjay Achar.

The Udupi postal department marketing division’s Poornima Janardhan gave an introduction over the postal week. The Udupi postal department staff and college teaching and non-teaching staff were present. The college principal Dr Madhusoodan Bhat presided over the programme. The physical education teacher Ganesh Kotian welcomed the gathering. Commerce professor Harikeshav rendered the vote of thanks. Commerce lecturer Raghavendra G G prepared and compered the programme.
