Mangaluru: Mohammed Iqbal elected prez of Karavali Sangeetha Kalavidara Okkuta

Mangaluru, Oct 19: The 13th annual general body meeting of Karavali Sangeetha Kalavidara Okkuta (R), Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts was held in the auditorium of BEM high school in the city on Sunday, October 18.

Mohammed Iqbal was re-elected as the president. Founder president Sadashiv Pandeshwar was present. Renowned lawyer of the city and legal adviser of the organization Sathish Bhat condcuted the election process.

Ramesh Salian presented the report and audit of 2019-20 and also rendered the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Krishna Prasad.

The new officer bearers of the organization are Mohammed Iqbal (president), Mallika Shetty (vice president, Mangaluru) and Mukta Srinivas (vice president, Udupi), Ramesh Salian (chief secretary), Jyoti Chandrashekar (joint secretary, Mangaluru), Prajwal Acharya (joint secretary, Udupi), Ivan Richard D'Souza (treasurer), Krishna Prasad (organizing secretary, Mangaluru), Subhashith (organizing secretary, Udupi), Mohan Prasad Nanthoor (convener, Mangaluru), Sharath Uchhil (convener, Udupi), committee members are Ranjan Das, Dhanuraj, NMPT, Santhosh Anchan, Dinakar Pandeshwar, Hussain Katipalla, Kevin Misquith, Keshava Kanila, Radhakrishna Bhat, Janardhan Padmashali and Swapnaraj.
