Puttur, Oct 19: Unknown miscreants reportedly have written some derogatory words along with the names of some Hindu gods at the bus shelter located by the side of the road at Noojibailu in Nettanige Mudnoor village by the side of Puttur-Ishwaramangala road.

Hindu Jagran Vedike has filed a complaint about what the Vedike has termed as sacrilegious.

A complaint has also been made to Nettanige Mudnoor gram panchayat.

The Vedike said that the trouble mongers indulged in this act on the night of October 15. It alleged that this effort, which has resulted in defacing the look of the bus shelter, is also aimed at disturbing the peace and tranquillity prevailing in the society.

    Let me begin by strongly condemning this shameful act. It is one God for all religions. Abusing and insulting one is same as deriding god followed by one's own religion.

    Having said this, let us open our eyes. There are hundreds if not thousands of videos and audios on internet that hurl abuses and make mockery of holy names and divine entities of other religions. The same people who rise in uproar now are shamefully silent and many times appreciate such media. It is like Karma. Comes back manifold. As you sow, so you reap. Time to wake up and mend one's own behaviour.

    It is the duty of the persons belonging to the religion which has been abused etc etc. If you say it is karma in this episode same thing holds good for the matter appeared in Internet /social media etc
