Mangaluru: Demmele - Al Ikram 2K20 programme held

Mangaluru, Oct 19: "Namaz is only a religious ritual. It is not enough if one offers only Namaz. In addition, we have to do the noble deed of identifying poor families and provide them food and cooperation," said entrepreneur Hyder Ali.

Hyder Ali was speaking after inaugurating the Al Ikram 2K20 programme that was held at Demmale under the aegis of Spot News Group Mallur.

Syed Nijamuddin Bafaki Thangal Koyilandi offered the Duva blessings. The programme was presided over by Khateeb Abdul Khadar Munavvari of Uddabettu masjid.

President of Ahmed Darimi, secretary Abdul Khadar Yamani, founder president of Mymuna Foundation Asif Apatbandava, president of Uddabettu masjid Nizamuddin Chikkamagalur, president of Demmele Masjid Mohammed Shareef and president of Badriya Nagar Masjid Asraruddin were felicitated on the occasion.





A talent show programme on account of Id Milad was presented by local Madrasa students.

Asraf Saadi Mallur, Hyder Ali Mangaluru, former taluk panchayat member N E Mohammed Mallur, Nazeem Darimi Uddabettu, former president of gram panchayat M K Yusuf, M D Abdul Rahiman Demmale, M Mohammed, D Mohammad Iqbal Demmale, Siddique B C Road, M G Abdul Razak, M I Mohammed Shareef, M K Abdul Hakeem, A K Usman Badriya Nagar, Aliabba, M A Mohammed, Tamimuddin Uddabettu, M D Abdul Kareem and Ummer Farooq were present.

Abdul Jabbar Mallur welcomed the gathering. Mohammed Altaf Demmale compered the programme.
