FAMAD Antakshari: Four Couples March into Mega Finals

Dubai, Apr 25: Excitement is in the air! FAMAD Pernal’s ‘Humaid Al Suwaidi RANG TARANG 2010’ will be a high-quality musical battle among four finalist couples for glory and glamour. Indeed, it will be great fun to watch them on stage with their talented voices and musical knowledge.
This grand finale will be hosted by FAMAD Pernal as part of their annual entertainer event, which will be held on Friday, May 7 at the Emirates Theatre, Exit 41, Sheikh Zayed Road, Umm Suqeim, Dubai. The splendour will kick-off at 4.30pm.

Four teams qualify for the mega-finals:
The exhilarating preliminary round was held recently in Dubai. There were seven semi-finalists, and four couples could make it to the grand finale. Four finalists of ‘Integrated Freight & Logistics FAMAD ANTAKSHARI’ are:

Naveen Lasrado, Omzoor with Meena Noronha, Angelore
Henry D’Almeida, Pernal with Rita Lewis, Pernal
Uttam Menezes, Bendore with Sheela Carlo, Agrar.

The mellifluous voice: Dr Prashanth Raj Live in Concert:
Part two of ‘Humaid Al Suwaid RANG TARANG 2010’ mega event will be none other than one of the melodious voices of Konkani, Dr Prashanth Raj, who will arrive from Mangalore to entertain Konkani music lovers. Presenter of some of the all time hits like ‘Haum Ek Sopnneli’, ‘Bhangar Tum Mhojem’, ‘Tuje Sobhit Te Don Dolle’, ‘Raat Zalea Raat’, will be a musical treat.
The event is ‘Merit Freight Dr Prashanth Raj-Live In Concert’. Well-known musicians Arun Carlo, Kethan D’Souza, Vincy Rodrigues, Roshan Carlo, Ramiro and Sameer will provide scintillating music whereas Ocean Kids and others will provide choreography.
FAMAD Pernal is dear to Konkani lovers for their creative presentation of shows at regular intervals, and have also won many prizes for their variety shows. Their last year’s event ‘Rang Tarang 2009’ was a super-hit with musical, dance competition for kids and a comedy by the in-house drama troupe. With no boring speeches, reports, or lengthy stage events, a new trend to Konkani entertainment events was set by FAMAD Pernal and the event receive high accolades by a whopping 1,200 plus crowd last time.
