Mangalore, Apr 26: The unexpected showers on the evening of Monday April 26 provided some much needed relief to city residents from the oppressive heat.
The rains, which lasted ten minutes, took the people by surprise and many were seen rushing to seek shelter from the downpour. Still, everyone breathed a sigh of relief after sweating the whole day.
The summer has seen very harsh this year and the rains were extremely welcome.
There is always something special and magical about the Mangalore rains.
