Condolence Meet for Yakshagana Artiste Kutpady Anand Ganiga

A condolence meet to pay tributes to Kutpady Anand Ganiga, veteran Yakshagana artiste, leader of Ganiga community, founder of Ranga Bhoomi Udupi, Karnataka Rajyotsav awardee and an active member of undivided Dakshina Kannada district unit of Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti (NGO), will be held at Billava Bhavan, Santacruz (East), here at 6.30 pm on Friday April 30. Ganiga breathed his last recently.
 
Metro-based Ganiga Samaj president, Jagannath M Ganiga, vice president, Kutpady Ramachandra Ganiga (brother of  the late Anand Ganiga), general secretary, B V Rao, Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti founder president, Tonse Jayakrishna A Shetty and honorary general secretary, Nithyanand D Kotian, have requested the Tulu – Kannadigas settled in the metro, apart from the members of Ganiga community, Karnataka organizations, Yakshagana troupes functioning in the metro etc., to attend the condolence meeting being held on Friday and pay their homage to the late Kutpady Anand Ganiga, who selflessly served Yakshagana for four and half decades.
