Kuwait : Bunts Sangha Felicitate CDA Chairman Nagaraj Shetty Media Release Kuwait, Apr 29: The Buntara Sangha – Kuwait held a get-together at Indian Community School, Khaitan here, recently.
The programme commenced at 3.30 pm with the inauguration by chief guest Nagaraj Shetty, chairman of Coastal Development Authority and the managing committee members.
Speaking on the occasion Nagaraj Shetty said that the work done by Kuwait Buntara Sangha is truly commendable. He stressed the need to maintain the great bunt culture and tradition and urged the future generation to develop love towards their mother tongue and native land.
Prayer service was rendered by Reetha K Shetty, Roopa R Shetty, Nalini P Shetty, Supreeta V Shetty and Rashmi P Hegde. President of the Sangha A Karunakar Shetty welcomed the gathering.
Various foot tapping filmy and classical dance items by kids and adults entertained the audience. The members also presented melodious songs and eye snatching skits. A Fashion Show put forth by bunt kids and adults was the special attraction of the day.
Nagaraj Shetty was felicitated by A Karunakar Shetty. The program concluded at 7.30 pm. Yadunath Alva and Swarna C Shetty compered the programme. All the stage events were well co-ordinated by Prashanth Shetty and. Preethi Shetty. General secretary of the Sangha Gururaj Shetty delivered the vote of thanks.
Delicious dinner with Bunts traditional cuisines was served on the occasion. Overall it was a joyous day for all the members present.
