OMG - imagine of the future of these children! I can only think of politicians, officials and police involvement with the Child Mafia or else there would have been action against this. What a pity, mera Bharat mahan

Conduct a survey at the Udupi City and Service Bus Stands,
and one will find many small children begging, and then
going to Radha Medicals 24 Hours Pharmacy to exchange
coins for notes. The people in Authority do not see anything
as they work only from 10 am to 5pm and expect to receive
    complaints in order to ACT.
Then there are women with small babies drugged and always
asleep in their arms who beg from pedestrian to pedestrian and
    from shop to shop.
Nowadays, there are Eunuchs too at the Service Bus Stand and
as well as at the Hejmadi Toll Barrier, Blessing those who give and
cursing those who don't. No one cares!
ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE FROM OUTSIDE AND WORK FOR AN
ORGANIZED SECTOR, BEGGING, the 3rd largest sector in India
    besides Trade and Industry.

Can someone find the root cause for this child labor. What compels them to work? Eradicate the root cause, then you will not see any child labor. Unfortunately even people who did this operation may not be knowing what will happen to these children after this so called rescue operation.....

What is done in rescuing these 17 children is a right thing. Hope, they will be properly rehabilitated. But 20 officials of different govt departments took part in the operation.

One or two department officials cannot do this work ? Is it show of strength or a show business ?
Or were these children in possession of AK-47 ? It was just a wastage of manpower and resources.

Once in a year or two these departments work sir . let it be. When did you hear about their work last time? I don't remember them doing it in the recent past while children picking fish in Malpe is a routine thing. You will find a few tomorrow morning also. I bet.

Are these children abducted and used for child labour, or their parents forcefully sent them so that a mouth will be less to feed ?

God knows. Nevertheless, if children suffer today, tomorrow's youth will be aggressive and revengeful. Thieves and criminals. We don't want that to happen to our society, no matter whose children they are.

Please use out taxes reserved for relevant department, wisely.

Police officials in Mumbai, when asked the roaming children on the roads, what was the main reason for them to be on the road, majority of children replied thus:

"Meri mummy mar gayi. Pappa ne dusri shaadi ki. Nayi mummy bahut maarti hai".
