Udupi, Nov 2: Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust has decided to run a campaign about the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya for 45 days commencing from January 15 next year. The trust said that the campaign would be an all-India affair.

The trustees met at the guest house of Ayodhya on Sunday November 1. During the said 45 days period volunteers will undertake door-to-door visits to collect donations, the trust decided.

Representatives of L&T company which has been selected to execute the construction and Tata Consultancy Services, which will supervise the construction, were present on the occasion. Detais of responsibilities the two concerned will share were discussed in detail. Various banks had approached the trust with a request to open account with them, but the meeting decided in favour of State Bank of India.

Normally engineers meet and hold discussions about the methodology of building construction but in this case, it was decided to form a committee of four to five Indian architectural experts as the opinion emerged in favour of such a committee as Indian architecture should be given preference in the construction.

Sri Govinda Devagiri Swamiji, Sri Vishwaprasanna Teertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math, Nripendra Mishra, Champat Ro Dinesh Chandra, Dr Anil Mishra, Raja Vimalendra Mishra etc participated. The trustees later took part in the puja of Ram Lalla's idol between 6 and 7 pm.

Pejawar Swamiji visited Naimisharanya, Haridwar and Badrinath thereafter on Monday. From there he is scheduled to visit Delhi to take part in the trust meeting there on November 10 and 11.

hope it will be place where all caste people including dalith, tribals can visit without feeling embarrassed / unwelcome... in many temples, all caste people are not welcome, only based on caste... in case any non-caste enters, he feels embarassed / unwelcome... all bhajan / bhojan/ poojan limited to one caste...

especially Gujarathi temples / GSB temples... incidentally these are champions of religion in society...

there are many caste based temples (temples controlled and managed by particular caste)... all these temples should give up caste identity and convert into Rama Mandir, since prime deity for BJP is Lord Ram...most of these temple managements are under BJP sway and if they can do this, there will be genuine feeling of oneness throughout India...

    Surnames cause Division...
    May Lord Ram bring Unison...
