Mangaluru, Nov 5: Vice president of BJP Karnataka unit, B Y Vijayendra, visited Balasamrakshana Kendra at Kuthar here on Thursday, November 5. Vijayendra, who also happens to be the state BJP vice president, performed Gau Puja and offered floral tributes to Bharat Mata.

Vijayendra then celebrated his birthday in the company of the children at the Ashram.

Speaking on the occasion, he predicted that the BJP will come out victorious with a margin of 25,000 votes in Sira assembly constituency where bypoll was held recently. He also revealed that the party has been emphasizing strengthening the organizational structure in Mysuru region as desired by the national president of the party, J P Nadda.

He appreciated the organisers of Kuthar Ashram who have been functioning without affecting the services offered by them, and without expecting anything in return. He said he is proud to be the son of Yediyurappa. "We are growing and also nurturing the love and trust of the party workers who are involved with the building of the party. We will extend all possible support and help for this Ashram," he assured.

He said he did not plan to celebrate his birthday, but under pressure from the party workers, celebrated it in a simple way in the company of the children of the Ashram.

The organiser of the Ashram Ananthakrishna Bhat, BJP leaders, Kishore Kumar Puttur, Raveendra Shetty Ulidottu, Chandrahas Pandith House, Gopal Kuthar, and Rajeev Mysuru were present.
