Bengaluru, Nov 5: The high court has quashed the case and also the summons seeking the personal appearance of former minister K J George and two IPS officers in the court relating to the suicide case of the late deputy superintendent of police, Gaaplati.

The accused K J George, and senior IPS officers, Pranav Mohanty and A M Prasad had approached the high court questioning the summons issued by the special court for people's representatives even after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officers who investigated the case filed B report.

The single judge bench of the high court presided over by Justice John Michael Cunha passed the order. The bench upheld the B report filed by the CBI. Advocate, C H Jadhav had argued the case on behalf of the petitioners.
