Bengaluru, Nov 6: Karnataka has also joined Delhi and other State governments in banning the bursting of firecrackers during the coming Deepavali festival on account of problems arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Friday announced that the State Government has banned bursting of firecrackers this Diwali festival and orders will be issued on the matter soon.

Apart from Delhi, the State Governments of Rajasthan, West Bengal, Haryana and Odisha have banned the bursting of firecrackers during this Diwali festival.
