When the message comes from politicians (incl. ministers) it is slogan only. It is very often not backed with data.
    Pillar of Indian economy are (a) Agriculture (b) Real-estate (c) Automobile & (d) Banking.
All others can be clubbed with (e) others. Government's own expenditure is another growth engine.

Now let us see how Economy will bounce back?
    (a) Will agriculture production increase of the recent farm bill result in more disposable income at the hands of Farmers? Will export of agri products multiply next year?
    (b) Is in slump since 2013. Market correction never happened here and some more regulation is needed to arrive at rates.
    (c) Automobiles growth has saturated. Any additional growth would need infrastructure development to support further growth that will increase consumption.
    (d) Banking reform has taken place silently, but not sure it is to the satisfaction of (a~c & e).

Unfortunately, it may be beyond the scope of DVS to provide supporting arguments in favor of his slogan.

Do you even know that a war is looming over our heads ?? If China and Pak together drop bombs at different locations, forget revival, a famine won't be distant.

Better if the govt engages it's resources at countering the enemy than giving hopeless futile speeches.
