I've been Enemy No 1 for BCCI for Long: Modi

New Delhi, May 8 (PTI): Suspended IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi today ridiculed the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) second show cause notice for allegedly planning a 'rebel' Twenty20 league in England.

He says it has become a part of life for him to be treated as "public enemy number one" by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

"It's a part of life. I have been public enemy number one for the Board of Control for Cricket in India for a long time now," said Modi.

He was speaking  when asked for his reaction to the notice issued to him a couple of days ago by the Board of Control for Cricket in India

"I won't react to it, the world has reacted to it on the basis of which the notice has been served.

He was pointing at the huge support garnered by the fraternity and public.

I still have 15 days to respond to it. We all know what it is," he told reporters at the airport.

Most of the nation loving and nation developing/promoting blue collars and business leaders are the looters of public money. They have under-hand ties with all crooks in the politics and the important Govt offices to move their files and sanction and release their fraudulent projects before they see the light of the day.

One of the best things that happened to all of us cricket lovers is the IPL. I was just watching the World Cup that is currently being played... it seems so dull compared to the IPL. I for one being a staucnh Indian fan, now cheer for South Africa, New Zealand etc becoz their players were in our Royal Challengers team. that is the effect of IPL. It is very difficult for any of us to organize a small event and the way Mr. Modi organized such a large extravaganza is incredible.... Whoever takes after him will find it very difficult to fill in his shoes becoz Mr. Modi had style and definitely lots and lots of guts! I wish him all the best in his future ventures. For once we see a young energetic COO other than our old ministers who cannot even keep their eyes open during the games. Mr. Modi was physically present at all most all the IPL matches and that definitely requires a lot of strength and focus...

    Dear Mr.Modi,
You are a special talent. The only thing you have to be careful is while playing with the politicians. Little flexibility is needed in INDIA. But for IPL You are the boss. The world 20-20 which is currently running looks like a LOCAL TOURNAMENT in front of IPL. Hats off to you for all you have given to cricket. And if possible keep BCCI OFFICIALS IN YOUR CONFIDENCE. JAI IPL

Mr Modi rather you better to be a COO of an commercial company not sports body.

As said, you are not enemy number one of BCCI instead sport lovers enemy number one.BCCI harboured, nurtured, sang the song of tune of yours. Finally when Media and public turned hostile against you then BCCI had no option other than clipping of your wings.
