Kundapur, Nov 26: A 407 tata mini tipper bearing the registration No. KA 20 AA 1218 was stolen on November 20 at 12.30 pm. Gulvadi village, Mavinakatte resident Usman who is the owner of the vehicle had expressed suspicion on driver Parashurama and booked a complaint against him at the Kundapur rural police station under the registration No. 66/2020, IPC section 379.
Crime division personnel in the police station who gathered details from PSI Rajakumar and crime division PSI Sudha Prabhu U located the vehicle near Jubilee Circle, Dharwad on November 22 and confiscated it. Likewise, the spare parts and rear door of the vehicle sold by the suspect at Bagalkot were also recovered.
The operation was conducted by Kundapur rural police station law and order section PSI Rajakumar and crime section PSI Sudha Prabhu, staff Sathish Belve, Anil Kumar B S, Chidananda, Nagesh and Padmavati under directions from Kundapur police circle inspector Gopikrishna K R, under guidance from additional SP Kumarchandra and Kundapur subdivision in charge assistant SP Bharath Reddy on orders from Udupi SP Vishnuvardhan.
