Udupi, Nov 27: MP Shobha Karandlaje has urged for a comprehensive investigation into the graffiti found on the wall supporting Lashkar-e-Taiba. “People from the Kashmir border or those from Pakistan have come to Mangaluru creating fear among the people. I urge the government to investigate who wrote it and what force is behind it. Can the people from Kashmir and obtaining shelter in Mangaluru do it? The home department should act immediately. There should be alert on the coast,” she urged.
Speaking about Love Jihad in Sullia she said that such things are happening even though Triple Talak is banned. “Investigations should be held and legal action should be taken against the incident,” she said. “There was an injustice done to Hindu girls in the name of love. I condemn it. The government should enact a new Act to stop Love Jihad and protect Hindu girls,” she urged.
“The Act against the slaughter of cattle is old. It was refused in 2008. Cattle are being transported in a cruel manner. I urge the government to implement the Act.
