Mangaluru: MRPL celebrates 'Constitution Day 2020'

Mangaluru, Nov 28: As per the guidelines of government of India, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) observed the Constitution Day 2020 on November 26.

M Venkatesh, the managing director led the Preamble reading from MRPL Bangalore Office. Pomila Jaspal, director (Finance), Sanjay Varma, director (Refinery), Rajeev Kushwah, CVO, M Elango, ED (Refinery), B H V Prasad, ED (Projects) and Krishna Hegde, GGM (HR) also joined the Preamble Reading from MRPL Board Room where the telecast of President of India’s Preamble Reading was made available. The live streaming of the same programme was made available to other offices of MRPL to mark the celebration of Constitution Day 2020.

Employees of MRPL joined the Preamble reading at 11.00 am from their workplaces in different departments at different locations. Reading of the preamble of the Constitution of India formed an important part of the celebration and reaffirmed our commitment to uphold its ideology and the values propounded by the great founders of the constitution and its chief architect Dr B R Ambedkar.

To mark the occasion Legal department of MRPL conducted essay writing and online quiz competitions for the employees as well as their dependents. The prizes for the winners in the competitions were distributed to the winners.
