Very good decision by villagers. There is no waste to the voting machine, people's time standing in queue and also giving money to people to vote. We should follow this as a national model. The highest bidder should get a seat for all elections. There will not be any political leader or party and the highest bidder will be the winner. Because after winning the candidate will not do any work by voting. Then better to take the money and distribute to people

Karnataka is a model for our nation. Like IT ,BT .Now in election

Villagers experienced that after election these GP members doesn't care about development of ward.
So collect the money in advance and use it for betterment of their village.

Indeed very shameful. We knew that corruption existed and prevailed at all levels of government and administration albeit done discreetly. But this is the limit as it has been done openly and people seem to have accepted it as normal issue. Whether it is a government job or a trade/industry permit or an election candidature, if allotted by corrupt means, does it not imply that the beneficiary in each case has the right to recover the amount spent by resorting to unethical methods?

Really pathetic to note the erosion of values and deterioration of virtues.
