Udupi: 'DC works on directions of BJP MLA Sunil Kumar' - Manjunath Mudradi

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (JD)

Udupi, Dec 14: The district deputy commissioner (DC) G Jagadeesha is acting on the direction of Karkala MLA V Sunil Kumar, alleged Hebri block Congress president Manjunath Mudradi.

Addressing the press in Hebri Mudradi said, "The district deputy commissioner is not working for the people. There is corruption in the administration and the DC must make it his priority to stop this corruption. We objected concerning the Yennehole dam project and submitted a memorandum against it to DC. However, he has not visited the spot. Let him visit the municipal council roads, rather than visiting the places where the construction is underway. He is usually spotted with some political leaders during all these visits. If he wants to contest for election, he should contest in them."

"If he continues to work in the same manner, we will not adhere to the election code of conduct and protest in front of the DC office. Even if he is related to any of the BJP MLAs, it should not reflect in the way he performs his duty," said Manjunath Mudradi.
