Mangaluru: Champa Shashti celebrated with devotional fervour at Kudupu

Mangaluru, Dec 21: Hundreds of devotees thronged Shree Anantha Padmanabha Temple, Kudupu, to witness 'Champa Shashti Brahmarathotsava' on Sunday December 20.

Devotees who started to visit the temple from 5 am, also made a beeline, to offer 'Tambila', Panchamrutha, 'Kedage', 'Hingara', silver and gold offerings to the deity.

It is said that more than 30,000 devotes visited temple on Sunday.





Shree Anantha Padmanabha Temple, Kudupu, is one of the famous temples for the worship of serpent God.

After 'Vishesha Panchamruthabhisheka', 'Navaka Kalashabhisheka', 'Ashtothara Archane', and 'Harivana Naivedya', Mahapuja was held in the afternoon. It was followed by the Bhramarathostava.

Temple CEO, temple administrator and renovation committee members were present.

The temple authorities had made all necessary arrangements for the devotees to make their offerings.
