Bengaluru: RUPSA withdraws decision, online classes to begin from Tuesday

Bengaluru, Dec 22: Recognised Unaided Private Schools Association (RUPSA), which had suspended online classes seeking to meet its various demands, said that it would lift the suspension on online classes and resume the classes from Tuesday December 22.

RUPSA said that online classes are being started again based on the assurance of the government to hold a meeting on Wednesday to consider its demands. It also said that the decision was also influenced by the thought about the interests of the students.

In the meantime, the parents of school opposed the bandh call given by RUPSA. They generally opined that online and offline classes are being held only for a limited period and if they are suspended, the measure will impact the future of the students.

The decision to withdraw the suspension of classes has been welcomed by the Associated Managements of Primary and Secondary Schools in Karnataka (KAMS), Karnataka Unaided School Managements Association and Managements of Independent CBSE Schools Association Karnataka (MICSA-K).
