Kundapur, Dec 28: Fortune Village Hotel was inaugurated on Monday December 28 at Vakwadi in the taluk. This chain of hotels, Fortune Group of Hotels, which is renowned in overseas countries started its operations in Vakwadi.
Vakwadi is the native place of NRI entrepreneur Praveen Kumar Shetty, who always thinks about the development of Vakwadi. Accordingly, he has started a luxury hotel in his native place.
The hotel consists of family restaurant and bar, pure vegetarian restaurant, well-equipped Kanaka Sabhangana, auditorium with seating capacity of more than 500 people, air conditioned facility, standard double rooms, twin and suite rooms, free Wi-Fi facility, internet service, 24 hours reception counter and huge parking area from both ends.
Fortune Group of Hotels are running successfully in overseas countries. Fortune Village Hotel, which started last year in Brahmavar, is running in a grand manner.
Giving his reaction on starting luxury hotel in his own native place, NRI entrepreneur Vakwadi Praveen Kumar Shetty said, "I had a dream of starting a well-equipped hotel in Vakwadi. Though Vakwadi is a village, people should get auditorium, hotel and quality facilities here. That is why Fortune Village Hotel has opened its operations today. This will give employment opportunities to local people along with development of the village. This hotel complex has space for nine shops, which will be convenient for people who want to start business. These will be given to locals only."
Praveen also said that there is no medical emergency clinic or medical shop in Vakwadi. If any doctor is interested to open the clinic or medical in Fortune hotel complex, they will be given the shop free of cost for one year.
He also said that all facilities in the hotel are well arranged though Vakwadi is a village. There is party hall with 500 seat capacity and vegetarian restaurant. There is a separate kitchen for the same. It will be convenient to local workers also. Facilities like staff room is provided for labourers working in the hotel.
