Udupi: Youth stung by honeybees rescued, provided treatment

Udupi, Dec 29: A swarm of honeybees attacked and stung a boy of Bagalkot origin on the morning of Tuesday December 29.

The name of the boy has been given as Pundalika. He was rescued and admitted into the government hospital at Ajjarkad here for advanced treatment.

The youngster was in dire straits due to the stinging of the honeybees and he was seriously ill. A social worker, Ansar Ahmed, immediately responded to his needs and helped to admit him into the hospital.

The boy, it is gathered, is a first year PU student.
