Udupi: Accident involving car, scooter - 22-year-old Ashwil Soans loses life

Udupi, Dec 31: In a tragic accident that took place between a car and scooter, 22-year-old Ashwil Samuel Soans passed away. The accident occurred in Padubidri-Karkala taluk.

The deceased was native of Karkala. The body was transported to the Padubidiri mortuary, however, when it was found that the post mortem will be undertaken on Friday, January 1, it was shifted to Mulky Karnad mortuary. The body was taken in an Apathbandava ambulance.

Padubidri police have filed a case in this regard.

    2 nd death of some youth in our coastal area... Parents please don't buy super bikers for these teens. Their lives is more important than their happiness with a super bike. Rip

    Accidents happen even while riding luna...If everyone follows traffic rules, we can avoid 90 percent accidents....moreover more than 80 percent accidents happen while overtaking, if we are careful there, we can avoid many accidents

    He was overspeeding as he was in a hurry to attend mass at church on new years eve. Scooty skidded and vehicle behind him passed over him. Very tragic incident. By the way, he was travelling from Mangalore to Karkal via Padubidre. It is very dangerous to travel on two wheelers. Year back his dad died in Rickshaw accident.
