Bantwal, Jan 1: Students are to be seen in schools which remained vacant for the last eight months due to Covid. Students headed to the schools on Friday,January 1. They were cordially welcomed in Bantwal taluk. Large numbers of students are studying in Daddalakadu government primary school and high school in Moodanadugodu village. The activities in the school have begun observing Covid regulations of the department of education.
Only students from sixth standard to ninth standard have arrived at the school. Wearing of masks and maintaining social distance were made compulsory. The are mandated to apply sanitizer before entering the classes. Only two students were allowed to sit on a bench. All the teaching and non teaching staff were made to undergo Covid tests as a precautionary measure.
A meeting of parents and teachers was presided over later by Durga Charitable trust president Prakash Anchan which has adopted the school. Suitable opinions and suggestions were given. High school division development committee president Ramachandra Poojary, headmistress Anita, Mouris and Hilda Fernandes were present.
