Kundapur, Jan 7: A gorilla was said to have been found behind the government high school within Kota Vaddarse gram panchayat limits on Wednesday. A local person knocked at the door of the forest department of Brahmavar zone officials to alert them, but the gorilla disappeared by the time the forest officials arrived at the spot.

Forest department staff, Akshita visited the spot and searched about eight acres of forest land, but it is said that the animal was nowhere to be found. A video in this connection has gone viral on social media.

It is also said that the gorilla had chased a newspaper distributor at Kottadi, Vaddarse on Wednesday morning. The newspaper distributor peddled his cycle fast and escaped from danger.
