    It is always noticed that Bus drivers think they own the roads, but then two wheeler generally want to ride even if there isn't enough space. So Bikers squeeze in ( even if it means entering from wrong side ) and make way but that irritates bigger vehicles. There could be few solutions like below;
    1. make our traffic rules more stricter and stringent so that no drivers dare to offend traffic rules, like in other countries say Gulf or Western Countries.
    2. penalties for road traffic offenders should be hiked drastically so that all of us are almost scared and be apprehensive when we break any traffic rules.
    3. have proper lane systems, two wheelers on left extreme, then buses and heavy vehicles, inside most for cars and medium vehicles. Coz when we drive there will be couple of 2 wheelers all around your vehicle in the middle of the road & they hardly allow you to go ahead. This can be very irritating to the cars n bigger vehicles.
    4. have proper systems. How you penalise us for violating rules, penalise the contractor who has built faulty roads which go off within short time of getting them ready
    5. install proper road signals at all the junctions and necessary places. This is very important. This will reduce pressure on Traffic Police who do the manual road traffic job. If you have proper signals for example : Nanthur / KPT / near KSRTC at Bejai ( near Bharath Mall ) and many more such dense traffic junctions, traffic can move in proper order.
    6. a proper system can surely avoid road rages like in this case.
    7. if not a minus point system like Gulf / Western countries, three offences by a vehicle driver cease his/her licence and suspend for 01 or 02 months. This would make them sober next time.

    Hop the concerned authorities take positive feed back from Citizens for the good of the city.

    A minute of madness has ruined his life. If this person is not a habitual offender, law should show him some leinancy and help him.

    Are there any traffic rules in India?? If there are; why no one follows them?? Anyone knows what ' RIGHT OF WAY' means??? I have seen people driving on the wrong direction, heavy vehicles, (trucks and buses) two wheels and rickshaws on fast lanes and traffic cop does nothing... pull them over and fine them with a stringent warning.... let them know that fast lane is for over taking and who follow the posted speed. The way Indian Hi Way are built is a joke.... This is just one issue... there are quite a lot to mention....

    Sainik mangalore ,Of course they think of family but first they must show their heroic attempts on road ,then they can explain what they have done to get applause.Hot blood you see,and hot sun makes it worse.If they had some drinks or some drugs ,need not talk at all.On our roads no rules not taking any notice of anything.

    Still the police supporting the private bus mafia. How many city bus drivers have the police arrested for road accident deaths caused by the drivers?

    @ Dylan, Mangalore Read article carefully / look carefully ( 10 times or 100 times ) - during a scuffle if you stab the opponent with any weapon it will taken as attempt to murder when the opponent is unarmed, if the opponent too is armed it will be considered as a self defense.

    here bus driver was unarmed while the rider was armed with gasoline & poured over him its now considered as attempt to murder.

    This has nothing to do with bus mafia. It's a case of taking law into one's own hands, a case of criminal attack with harmful intention.
