Kasargod: Customs officials seize 4 kg gold concealed in car, arrest two

Kasargod, Jan 21: Acting on a tip-off, customs officials on Thursday, January 21 seized nearly four kilograms of gold that was being transported illegally in a car.

The arrested are Tushar (27) and Jyothiram (23) of Belagavi, Shahapur.

The customs officials on authentic information, on Thursday afternoon stopped the car which was plying towards Mangaluru from Kannur at Pallikere tollgate. They found the gold concealed in the car.

Under the guidance of assistant commissioner of customs E V Vikas, Kannur, Kasargod customs commissioner PP Rajiv, staff K Chandrashekar, K Anand Korakkod, M Vishwanath took part in the operation. Officials are gathering additional information from the accused.

It may be recalled that the customs officials had seized Rs 6.2 crore gold last February.

    The Modus operandi is clear . Similar to what we saw in kerala gold smuggling .The front names was Nair and Kusuma . .. This is well thought of ....keep front as some ram,shiva,rohit etc ..so there is some balancing act.
    The Nefarious designs of left and Islamic terror outfits is simply outstanding .. A big salute ..The Maya Gang is not a lone wolf attack ..this is a larger ploy. We have seen this worldwide ..Syria -russia supported islamic terror outside of their territory In ,France -All leftist are sympathetic towards the ISlamic terrorists . Interestingly the left wont tolerate Islam within their territories .. See China ..and Russia ..what they have done with uigir muslims and so on.

    The Islamic religion is trying to use democratic laws like that of India ,Europe,US,australia canada etc .. Its time these democracies evolve to counter the threat of islamic terror.
    Unless you come out of your deeper brain wash called religion ,you cannot find peace and liberation in the real sense .You will be simply worried about your identity Mr observer .
