Mangaluru/Udupi, Jan 22: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 12 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday raising the tally to 33,530. Out of these, 252 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,07,140 samples have been tested. Out of which, 4,73,610 are negative.
As many as 28 people were discharged on Friday. A total of 738 deaths have occurred so far, including one on Friday.
Over 26,415 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 27,70,435 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,244, including 3 fresh cases on Friday. Out of these, 27 cases are currently active.
Over 3,27,183 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,03,939 have turned out negative. As many as 3 patients were discharged on Friday. A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far.
