Mangaluru: Fire at electronics, furniture showroom at Suratkal inflicts loss

Mangaluru, Jan 23: At around 11 pm on Friday January 22, an electronics and furniture showroom, Agari Enterprises at Suratkal caught fire. The fire raged as a result of which the unit suffered huge loss.

Preliminary reports said that the fire was caused by short circuit. Three fire tenders were deployed to douse the flames. Suratkal police station personnel also visited the spot and got involved with rescue operations. More details of the incident are awaited.
