Bengaluru, Jan 23: Two Congress leaders fought it out in the office of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) here on Friday January 22.

MLC M Narayanaswamy, and former chairman of Karnataka Vidyut Karkhane (Kavika) S Manohar, fought it out. Other leaders intervened and stopped the incident from turning into an ugly confrontation.

Verbal friction broke out between Narayanaswamy and Manohar on who should be on the dais at a programme organized to congratulate Ramalinga Reddy on his appointment as the new working president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. At one stage, they lost temper and started physical altercation after which the Congress leaders separated them, closed the door of the office and pacified the leaders, it is reported.

KPCC working president, Saleem Ahmed, said that the two did not come to blows. He said that after congratulating Ramalinga Reddy, discussions were held about the winners in the gram panchayat election. S Manohar, however, denied that the two had quarrelled.
