Udupi, Jan 23: India's most trusted jeweler brand Tanishq's Udupi showroom was relaunched on Saturday January 23 in new avatar under a new administrative team. Bhaskar Bhat, director, TATA Sons Private Limited, inaugurated the showroom.
Maxim Saldanha, known as an exclusive dealer for TATA products like Titan watches and Titan Eye Plus, has taken over the new administration of Tanishq Udupi showroom.
Shri Vidyavallabhatheertha Swamiji of Kaniyoor Math, Fr Charles Menezes, parish priest, Mother of Sorrows Church, and Katheeb Nazeer Ahmed Saadji, Rehmaniya Masjid Dodangudde, launched the showroom by lighting the lamp.
Fr Romeo Lobo, estate manager, diocese of Udupi, Dr Jerry Vincent Dias, president Credai Udupi and promoter, Mandavi Real Estate Developers, Manohar S Shetty, managing director, Sai Radha Group of Concerns, Alwyn D’Souza of Alwyn Bakery, Jaison Dias, Sharath, south regional business head, Rajeev Menon, Tanishq, south regional manager, Maheedhar, area business manager and franchise owner Maxim Saldanha, Gretta Saldanha, Leon and Onel were present on the occasion.

Speaking to media Bhaskar Bhat said, "Tanishq is known for its purity, trust and its state-of-the-art designs. Currently, our target for the year is to reach an annual turnover of Rs 18,000 crore. Tanishq is spread across the world with 350 showrooms including one in Dubai and 15 more showrooms will come up in Karnataka itself by March. In coming days, our focus will be on smaller cities also. Jewellery sector did not suffer much even after the lockdown as the public are now aware of investing in jewellery.”
As part of the celebration, the store is holding an exclusive preview for the customers on the launch of Tanishq's exclusive high value diamond collection, The Moods of Earth and Golden Titan Watches collection ‘Nebula’.
The large 3,000 sq ft store located at Geethanjali Theatre Road caters to a wide range of gold, bridal and diamond collections with traditional designs. The store also has an exclusive wedding jewellery floor for Rivaah featuring stunning wedding jewellery designs across gold and diamond products.
