London, Jun 18 (IANS): Actor Rupert Grint has revealed that he is keen to ditch his clean-cut image and is looking for a "dark and insane" new role.
The actor has long been known for his portrayal of comedic and loyal Ron Weasley, Harry Potter's best pal, in the wizard movies.
However, after the end of final installment of the "Harry Potter" franchise, Grint now eyes much more sinister parts, reports dailystar.co.uk.
"I'd do literally anything, anything that's quite different with big characters would be good - someone dark and insane would be quite cool," he said.
"As we're closing to an end now, we're about to step out into the real world, which is quite a scary thought. We're looking to keep going and find different roles and a way to escape getting typecast. But with Ron, I think I'll be OK," he added.
