Seven vehicles set to transport 4 tonnes beef in concealed containers to Mangaluru seized in Hassan

Daijiworld Media Network - Hassan (SP)

Hassan, Jan 25: On Sunday January 24, the police took into custody seven vehicles and arrested two persons. Four tonnes of beef was found packed in plastic containers used for fish transportation, in order to pass it off as fish. The beef was sent to be transported to Mangaluru.

Alur police station police sub-inspector (crime), Dinesh Kumar, was on patrol duty on Saturday night. On the basis of information he received, he went to a shed in Prukruti Nagar, Alur. At the sight of policemen, the accused ran away, leaving behind the vehicles.

A person identified as Munna, who was hiding behind the bushes nearby, was taken into custody. On questioning him, the police came to know that the illegal beef transportation had been planned from there.

Will any Indians dare to violate laws in the the middle east nations ?? The answer will explicitly be " NO " The fear of doing so, would mean Imprisonment and then be deportation !!!! When laws are passed by the state, in our nation, it becomes mandatory, for every citizen to respect and not violate its tenets.... Humans will definitely not starve to death, because Nature has blessed us with so many goodies to feast, then why violate laws and bring grief on us !!!!!

Cow slaughter ban is a blatant violation of peoples basis rights. In some States it's free for consumption. Export of Beef is going on and there is no hue & cry nor any law against that.
BJP government is a two headed Cobra one to attack minorities and the other to satisfy Hindu brethren ? Educate lot, check the principles for your self and suggest some frank opinion. what is happening is very vicious.

BJP government must make alternate arrangements for Beef eaters. Why can't BJP government import Beef from abroad for those who eat Beef just like Gulf countries import Pork to cater to those who eat meat? Everyone's sentiments, food habits, and culture must be respected and the Majority community cannot decide what people of other religions can and cannot eat.

Good Idea. Cows grown/reared in India replicate a mother. All respect.

Since you are exporting the meat that is for bidden for you to consume, in exchange, import that is grown/reared outside. Then you have no problem, yeah ?? Just as your motherly animal's meat is permissible for the outside world to consume ?

Deshbhakt mangalore, here we should remember one thing.Dont place your mother in a animals grad like a cow..Cow however is a animal.Sure cow gives milk we benefit from it ,but a mothers place is quite different. animal is a animal.Animals are reared by people for their consume whatever animal it is.Sure cow should be respected as a useful for humans daily consume as meat ,milk or its products.Of course Hindus respect on their belief and do Puja. That doesnt mean others too must do it.Leave everyone to their belief and let others too to choose their way of living and consume.

Doing illegal business is wrong. When a law of land expressly prevents a particular activity, if you do it, then its illegal.... illegal cannot be legal.

    Beef war will never succeed.
People will resort to new ways to fulfil their craving and satisfy their hunger.
If judging from sympathetic point of view, then stop slaughtering other animals, Sheep & goats on a priority basis. God may bless more & more

Dear Mangalorean, you should note that beef is banned in karnataka and transportation to Beef export factories in Gujrat owned by BJP supporters is allowed.

I am sure that beef found in Mangalore was on the way to beef export factories in Gujrat. BJP has banned cow slaughter in karnataka to help transporting more cows to Gujrat factories for beef export. This is well planned act.

Is that real? I thought we’re no.1. We export so many things. You too can start exporting beef, if interested, but legally. Don’t try to justify some illegal activity with disgusting arguments. If you’re so fond of beef, travel to ppaces where it’s legally allowed(god’s own country-kerala) enjoy and come back. Why you justifying such illegal activity.
