Mangaluru, Jan 25: "Due to the failure of BJP government, miscreants are continuously carrying out mischievous deeds in society. It is really shameful that BJP and its supporting organizations are holding protests when BJP itself is ruling in center and state," said Santhosh Shetty Asaigoli, Ullal Block Congress leader.

Santhosh Shetty was speaking at the protest meeting that was organized on Monday January 25 at Thokkottu bus stand, urging the police to arrest the culprit of the incidents of inflicting hurt to the feelings of Hindus by desecrating the Koragajja-Guligajja Katte of Ullal and Gopalakrishna Mandir of Konaje.

Santhosh Shetty further said, "Sangh Parivar of BJP is trying to mislead people by holding protests when the home ministry is in their hands. By this attitude, BJP is trying to break the brotherhood and communal harmony. Congress leaders have done mammoth work for the temples and Daivastanas under the constituency of Mangaluru. This was possible only due to the secular mentality of the Congress MLAs.

Speaking on the occasion, Dinesh Rai, former member of Ullal town municipality said, "The sentiments of Hindus are being deliberately hurt in order to get MLA U T Khader defeated in the elections. Where were VHP and Bajrang Dal when acts of this nature were going on since a month?

"BJP leaders, who are seeking votes in the name of Hindu, should be ashamed. Though they have power in their hands, BJP is trying to hold protests when the zilla panchayat and taluk panchayat elections are approaching with the intention of creating a bad image for MLA Khader.

"When miscreants created an issue in Koragajja Katte, it was the Congress members who reached first there and not members of BJP. This shows the fake Hindutva of BJP. It is not possible to tie cloth to Koragajja Katte. The real colour of BJP will come to light.

"Kalladka Bhat, who speaks volumes about Hindutva, was invited for Nagamandala celebration of a temple at Kumpala. However, the organizers had financial issues to continue the programme. When this was brought to the notice of Bhat, he scolded the executive president and left the place without giving any cooperation. When the organizers contacted Mithun Rai for the same issue, he immediately offered all kinds of help and the programme was held without any problems. This is the reality of people who vow for Hindutva. There is no need for BJP to win elections by joining hands with SDPI. Keep in your minds that secularism is stronger."

In his speech, INTUC leader Dinakar Shetty said, "If VHP and Bajrang Dal have the capacity, let them hold a protest in front of the office of district in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary. I am not able to understand the stand of Hindu organizations of selecting Thokottu as the place for protest. Police have to crack this case immediately in order for the peace to prevail in Ullal."

Taluk panchayat president Monu Malar, member Surekha Chandrahas, town municipality president Chithra Chandrakant, vice president Ayoob Manchila, block chief secretary Abdul Rehman Kodijal and Ramesh Boliar were present.

BJP is a one man WWE wrestler does both beating and beaten to rouse public sentiments as there are no such issues practically existing in the society. If not then how can they justify to fool people that they are doing a very noble job by creating the situation with paid drama artists.
