no one supports these behaviors "enthusiastically". its only out of fear of damage to property and self that people dont venture out. most of the salaried folks will have an extra day working and compensate but the daily wage workers ... how are they going to compensate? the politicians are stamping on the very stomachs that they are allegedly fighting for..

Evaluate the Loss to the individual, common man, to industry, to business, to children's education TO THE STATE, and to the Nation.... The party and the law makers that called the Bandh will only add to the misery and ruin the natioanl GDP and add to inflation and drive the prices even higher.... Come next election if they win (not expected) they will drive the country back 10 years with 2-3 years rule if they manage... This is democracy at work INDIAN STYLE. VOTE BANK POLITICS Holier than thou.. arrogance....

True democracy would be helping the common man get the benefits of the rule and governance and value based coallition or fighting out on issues at the government level in the houses of Law than call band and add to povery and misery of common man.....

Democracy seems to be pulling the chairs and tryingto grab power and that goes for all the democratic parties in Independant INDIA.
