Mangalore Jul 5: District-level body building championships, Raymonds Classic 2010 and Champion of Champions organized by Raymond’s Ggym, Valencia were held at Ravindra Kala Bhavan, University College in the city here on Sunday July 4.
Alvyn Paul bagged the Champion of Champion - 2010 award and the Raymond classic- 2010 and Most Muscular award were won by Chirag. Trophy and cash award was given to the champions including the winners who bagged up to fifth place in the competition.
Retired physical director of Kasturba Medical College and Raymond’s coach M S Kumar lighted the lamp and inaugurated the programme.
South Canara Body Builders’ Association (SCBBA) chairman and Silva Earth Movers proprietor Alwyn D’Silva and SCBBA president Ivan D’Souza were the chief guests.
Adi Shakthi Caterers proprietor Krishna Gorigudda, SCBBA secretary Mahesh, Anand Traders proprietor Anand Shetty and Kerala State Kabaddi Association president Sudhir Kumar M were the chief guests for the losing ceremony..Circle inspector of Panambur and recipient of Chief Minister’s Award, Valentine D’Souza was felicitated on the occasion.
