Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SB)

Mangalore, Jul 11: Finally there is some hope for Gregory Patrao with telephonic assurance coming in from Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Saturday July 10 of inquiry into demolition and taking away his property by the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board

The assurance comes after the visit of State Organic Farming Mission chairman S A Anand to the hunger strike venue on Friday July 9 and subsequently Anand meeting CM at his Shimoga residence on Saturday July 10. Following this, on Sunday July 11, the 25thday of hunger strike series Patrao has decided to withdraw the strike.

It is said that CM’s assurance comes after viewing the clippings of the demolition and report thereby of the incident collected by Anand on his visit to Mangalore on Friday. Immediately CM called up Patrao and extended his assistance in the matter, following which CM called the regional commissioner Jayanti to conduct inquiry into the issue.

Buoyant Patrao said that after speaking to the CM, he is hopeful of getting justice. Hence, I have decided to withdraw hunger strike.

Well said Mr. Madhav Nayak & Mr. Raghuveer. This is only a call to fool the people. Palemar & Acharya even may not be aware of this incident. We have leaders only to think how to grab any opportunity to amass wealth.

At last the impasse of the struggle has ended and it has taken somebody from Shimoga to speak to CM regarding the injustice to Gregory Patao. It is a shame that our own Palemar and Acharya have not done anything to solve the problem of Gregory Patrao who is also a BJP gram panchayath member. Shame on local BJP.

This assurance by the CM is the similar one made to the Lokayukta, a mere eyewash. This will be proved in the coming days. Intention was only make Mr. Patrao to call his fast off. Mr. Anand and the CM succeeded in doing that and eventually fooling all those who sat on fast with Mr. Patrao. When will we the ordinary people learn these old tricks of the politicians and come our senses?

TRYING TO MAKE MONEY WITHIN 5YEARS OF TERM BY ACQUIRING THE LAND OF FARMERS & GIVING TO COMPANIES. CONGRESS HAS MADE MONEY FROM LAST 50YEARS. SO BJP TRYING TO MAKE SAME 50YEARS OF MONEY WITHIN 5 YEARS. THIS IS ONLY DIFFRENCE FROM THESE TWO PARTIES.
